Hours: Mon-Thurs 5 a.m. - midnight; Fri 5 a.m. - 1 a.m. 

Service-At-A-Glance  

Red Line Mon-Thurs: After 10 p.m., trains single track between Van Ness and Friendship Heights. Normal Service until 10 p.m. then trains run every 9 minutes, on average, between Glenmont and Dupont Circle and every 18 minutes between Dupont Circle and Shady Grove. Fri: Normal Service  
Blue Line Normal Service
Silver Line Normal Service 
Orange Line Normal Service
Yellow Line Normal Service
Green Line Normal Service

What Trackwork Are We Doing?

On the Red Line, Metro will perform tunnel leak mitigation to clean up and seal any water leaks within the system and fiber-optic cable installation, keeping your cellular service connected, two-way communications for Operations or Metro Transit Police.
